Subject: Hose has a brass sleeve in it
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I sprung a leak the other day. I was able to reattach the hose by reaching in front of the RR tire, filled up with water/antifreeze and made it home.It looks like the hose is good, but it is attached to a very long plastic hose that runs to the radiator. The hose (it goes over the tranny) has a reducer, looks like brass sleeve, which goes into the long plastic return line. Do I have the wrong hose? Do I need the reducer? Should I just yank this brass sleeve and clamp down to the plastic feed/return line? A couple of pics. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/personalbsd/album?.dir=2460&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/personalbsd/my_photos

Thanks, Rick Sacto 91 Westy A/T
