Now that I have my aux battery and new radio installed, I would like to be able to turn off radio via another rocker switch on the dashboard cluster of my 88 Vanagon. To turn my new radio off, I have to press and hold a button for a second or so and I'd prefer to just be able to punch a rocker switch and be done with it. There used to be a couple of Vanagons in a local salvage yard, but alas, no more. So, is there anyone out there who has a spare switch to part with? I'm just going to use a make/break contact pair, so most any of the switches in an old Vanagon of that vintage would do - defroster, hazard, I think even headlight would fit in the spare spot in lower right corner of the dash cluster. TIA P-mail reponses are just fine. John Graham 88 Westy Charlotte NC |
