<<Subject: Re: Vanagon Seams What is body panel adhesive and where do you get it? >> Body panel adhesive is just what the name implies. Body panel adhesive. Most all new vehicles skip spot welding. They panels are glued together with body panel adhesive's. The beauty of this stuff is it displaces water. So if it's used in leu of a tar, latex or gum based seam sealer, which will not displace any moisture, the fruits of your labor will last an awful long time. I only spot weld the end's of a long run seam, the rest is all glued together with 3-M Body Panel adhesive. Tough stuff. Perfect for seam repair. It's readily available at any better auto body shop supply.
