Greetings all,






First I want to thank everyone for the input on the valve adjustment and
rough running problem.  It was a valve adjustment.  And she started and
purred!!!!!






Off for a maiden voyage test run.  I made I down the block and then the
white smoke started (steam) !#%&%^&#.






Yes, white smoke causes potty mouth.






1.       Is there an easy (or difficult way) to determine which o-ring
failed?


2.       if I scrape all the black goop off can I reuse the head gasket (I
know I am going to have to get another o-ring)\


3.       any other suggestions/comments
