pumps don't leak (weep) in my opinion unless the seal is going bad usually from the bearing going bad thus letting the shaft move more than the seal can seal. as for the marks on the case i'm not auto trans person but those look like torque converter bolts that were coming loose and beating the hell out of the case. for hoses i would suggest cleaning the inside of the hose and the barb then putting them together. you really shouldn't need any sealer. if you want you can put a small amount of grease on the nipple to keep the hose supple and aid in you being to take it off with ease the next time. silicone brake assembly grease probably the best but good old wheel bearing grease works also.
