Those ET48 rims from190E and 300E are common as dirt and cheap too, but not a real good match for the Vanagon. The big 80s SE/SEL 500 and 420 Mercedes generally have wheels that are a better match, in 15" x 6.5" or x 7". These already have something near ET25 and thus don't need spacers, depending on tire selection. Lots of wheels can be made to work with enough effort and money, just ask BenT.
