My 89 Westy came with a dent in the LR corner so I ground of the paint and used a pin welder that spot welds a copper pin the the steel and then use a slide hammer dent puller to ease it out. Grind off the pins, cover it with body putty and smooth it off with sand paper. Prime it, paint it with a couple of coats of original color, wet sand in between, a little rubbing compound followed by polishing compound and it looks like new. Total time, 20 minutes to pull the dent, grind off the pins, one hour to apply body putty and let it cure, then sand it off, 3 hours for prime and paint and final buff. While you are at it, take care of those little rust spots here and there. The additional time is nothing while you are waiting for the paint to dry elsewhere. TEMiller
