When I was fixing the damage from when a ford truck rear ended me I had an interesting anomaly. On the left rear corner I did a fantastic job of shaping it to a perfect match. Then I realized it looked strange. Then I realized that slight other creases and bends around the area were making the body work stand out. I then took the sander and changed the contours a bit to match the bends coming up to it. It is bent and looks correct.
