Is that insert brass or steel with the brass-colored anti-corrosion finish? When I flushed and re-filled my '90 Westy last year, I discovered the insert part way out and it sure looked like rust to me. And at least one person at the time mentioned drilling a small hole (or two holes opposite each other) in the side and inserting a stainless steel screw. The screws of course would be in the area covered by the hose. Jerry
