Subject: Weird Vibrations at the Clutch Pedal
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Now that the starter connections have been cleaned and working beautifully, this morning reminded me of something else.

Occasionally I get a sound like rattling tin cans when hitting the higher part of 1st and 2cnd gear. Now this morning I heard it and while making a turn I hit a pot hole that made my passengerside rear wheel spin and skip. Now whilst driving I have a vibration that I can plainly feel through the clutch pedal that was not there before. I know that i need new engine mounts(they are on the way). Any thoughts?

History: PO told me one day he was driving along and heard a rattly sound from the back and it went away. It came back later and left stuck until he had to pull the engine and replace the throwout bearing(I hope it was a complete assembly). At the time he said he replaced the pilot bearing and the rear main seal.

I just wonder if there is anything else I could check.
