Another reason to find a brass sleeve in a coolant hose, sorry if this has been mentioned before.

All of the original plastic pipe metal sleeve inserts I have ever seen are steel (they rust). I have purchased two of these kits but haven't installed them yet. The idea is to use heat (heavy duty heat gun) and shove the migrating steel insert back into the plastic pipe. A brass sleeve is then inserted into the hose connection and double clamped to prevent the steel insert from migrating again. Instructions are on the site. I'll try this before replacing the plastic tube.
