I purchased a South African Big Brake kit as part of the group purchase a few years back. However when I purchased the kit I had a 2WD and now I have a syncro. I ended up installing the big brake kit on the syncro, apparently the only difference between the syncro kit and the 2WD kit is the inclusion of spacers for the hubs, and of course the 2WD kit does not include syncro hubs. I kept my original syncro hubs, rather than replacing them. I was placing an order at GoWesty and decided to get some spare rotors and pads for the brake kit and noticed there is a difference between rotors for 2WD and 4WD. Apparently on the center, hub area, is larger for the syncro, does anyone know if the spacers for the syncro kit are there to account for that difference? I am pretty sure I should be buying the syncro rotors (my vehicle is a 86 syncro) but I have a tiny doubt because my big brake kit kit was originally for a 2WD. Thoughts? Chris |
