Gasohol. Now that's a word I hadn't heard in a while. Hate to burst your bubble though, Al, if you put gasoline in your vehicles at all, you are most likely using what used to be labelled gasohol. There are a couple of additives that are used, including ethanol, MBTE, and benzine (I think), to help mix the detergents with the gasoline. If the gasoline that you use has any detergents in it, then it also has one of the above additives in it. Ethanol is more often used for a number of reasons, not the least of which are the harmful effects that can come from dealing with the other additives.
