I re-used mine about 2 years ago... hasn't leaked yet... Of course, YMMV. Good luck!

The 6-mm socket head bolts sound familiar too... I ended up shortening an allen wrench by about a quarter-inch to be able to get it into one of these right below the pump.

I don't remember if I *had to* pull my distributor, or if I just pulled it to replace the o-ring on that (a little bit of oil was leaking in the the area... still is, must be the fuel-pump block-off)
