"Adjusted for inflation" is not an opinion, it is fact.

That being said, I agree we're getting ripped.  But we were getting ripped
in '80, '85, '90, etc., etc.

The prices change, but the story stays the same.

When I was a kid the two stations down on opposite corners at the end of the
street had a price war... which bottomed out at nineteen cents a gallon; I
think at the time it was normally about twenty-six cents per.
I just spent $67 on gas yesterday... the same gas at the regular price then
would've been $7.56. Ten or so years ago it would've been $35.
'Adjusted for inflation' is a bullshit dodge. We're gettin' ripped.
