The harness adapter is only for the Digifant. If it ran for almost 20
years without it, why should it need it now? I have yet to install
either the adapter or capacitor fix in mine or anyone else's Vanagon.

i just bought the little 8" long factory harness fix for the vanagon
"intermittant syncrome" problem.. its the little harness with the a plug
on each end,
plugs into your harness and then into your AFM..   the part number is#
025 906
302A

i was told this would would work on my '84 vanagon...1.9L
 but i just talked to ken and he said its only for the 2.1L vans..
when i posted this up to the list a week or so ago i couldnt get a
straight
answer but i was led to believe it would work on my '84..

so what is the real answer? will the # 025 906 302A harness work on a
1.9L???
 i was hoping this would work so i didnt have to solder in a capacitor..

did i just buy something that i cant use?
