I live in Houlton, Maine ... last stop on I-95 ... 370 miles north of Boston. I have, and use, air conditioning in all four of my vehicles and one is a 1984 7 passenger automatic and another is my 1985 Westy 4 speed.

Not only is the air conditioning really nice during the warmer months here, I do travel as well. In fact, we just got back from a trip to New Orleans in our 2000 Beetle. We used the air quite a bit during the trip.

Would I buy another Westy without A/C? ... Not unless it sold at a ridiculously low price ... and even then I might just say no.

Mike
