In a pinch, a mechanical oil pressure gauge will also work, especially if you have a cheap one lying around as I did. I cobbled up some adapters to fit, and it worked like a charm. They can also be had for under $10 at Walmart, etc. I wouldn't recommend this route for regular duty, but for a one time use, it's fine.
