I spotted these self-proclaimed 'traction aids' on sale at my local NAPA for $15/set includes semi-canvas storage bag. http://www.mainemade.com/members/profile.asp?ID=1189 seems like a decent enough price and would have likely gotten my 87 syncro unstuck when I was driving thru my back yard in 24" settled sugar snow (wasn't any snow traction) and a rear wheel sank into soft mud (was over my septic leech field) I'm planning on picking up a set, worse case is I resell them @ a swap meet for $10 err $20 later on..
