Found my AC ducts hanging down and rear plasctic in bad shape with cracks, broken parts etc. Whole rear assembly was held by 2 screws in back and home made bracket on one side.Thinkng it was just big cover removed those 4 screws... and whole thing came down!Great engineering from VW!Quality!Reliability! The rear assembly is beyond repair, plastic broken. All ducts are broken where they were attached to ceiling. Have seen AC where whole assembly is in front only above seats. Anyone changed rear AC assembly to front one? How hard or easy is it? What years they were used? Thanks Leon 86 Syncro
