Ouch, sure, but I'd have to say it's worthwhile. I paid $1100 for the 16" version myself. It's not quite as bad when you consider that they come with tires. Ever since I switched, I can't understand why anyone stays with those scary, wobbly, pizza cutter OEM 14's. It sticks to the road like glue, practically ignores cross winds, and the road noise practically disappeared.
