Chris,

We're beating it to death because there are some poor sad folk on the list who prefer to bash Vanagons and the people who drive them. For the life of me, I can't understand why they bother...

As for me... I've been driving a Vanagon almost every day for over 12 years now and have never, ever been stranded (except for the one time I ran out of gas).
