I have seen a head held on with 7 studs, but who knows how long it ran before it broke again. (It was broken again when I got the van).

The guy had tapped the stud hole in the head and filled it with a bolt (and sealant) to keep fluids from coming though.

You could try this, but I doubt it's a good solution.

You may in in a pickle my friend. :(
