Subject:      Crank Pulley removal?

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good way to
remove the crank pulley? I have removed the crank
bolt, but there isn't enough room to use a puller due
to the heat shield. I tried prying it off, with a
limited amount of force.  I didn't want to damage
anything. It didn't even budge.
