check your wires between the module and the distributor for continuity. are you still using the digital idle stablier? if so i would check that out per bentley or jumper the two plugs together. the hall unit in the distributor is just a switch that switches the power that goes to it. if you were to have power to the hall plug at the distributor then you could check the switching of the hall unit buy cranking the engine by hand and watching the voltage on a meter. that test is in the bentley also. also remove the rubber boots from all connectors and examine the condition of the wires and the crimps right before the go into the plastic connector housing. this is where i have seen the most failures.
