actually the 76-79 rear table mounts were external - surface mounted on the kitchen unit side, just as they are pictured on the side of this 76-79 kitchen unit.. you can see the table mount in the orig vanagon water tank cabinet still exists, so i guess you have your choice of where you can mount the rear table now in this particular camper.. anyway just something nice to know if any of you ever find a vanagon westy missing its kitchen unit and have a 76-79 one laying around... :<) no fridge tho... chris
