Is that amount of rust unusual? Or does every car look like that after ten winters in the snowy wastelands that are eastern and central Canada and US? Seriously, I'm curious and have no clue. I've lived in Los Angeles nearly all my life and the only actual rust damage on my SoCal Vanagon is the tip of the exhaust J pipe is eaten away at the bottom. I've heard the stories about road salt, but I had no idea...
