Looking through the Bentley, I don't see anything about disconnecting the driveshaft either. I've never seen it in person myself, but it looks like four bolts hold the drive flange to the drive shaft. This should allow the tranny to hinge freely on the mounting bolts enough to drop the engine end down then, no?
