Subject: Fuel expansion/overflow tank grommets
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I just did the seal-replacement dance with my 85 westy's fuel tank. Sadly the grommets in the top of my fuel expansion tanks have totally deteriorated, one of them appears to have split in two several years ago, and the other one had turned into a pile of goo. So, I need new ones. However, I have not been able to find these grommets at any of the normal online vanagon suppliers... Anyone know where I can get these? I also managed to break the driver's side tank's vent valve while trying to remove the pile of goo/grommet from it. It appears that busdepot sells this part...
