'Southern California is a big place. I have a '75 280Z that lived in San
Diego for a while that has some undercarriage rust; I imagine those on the
coastal fringe have a different experience with rust than those of us inland
do. FWIW, the rust areas on that Z haven't changed in all the time I've had
it.
I wonder what the humidity has to be to allow rust to creep. Our humidity
typically stays at about 9% to 11%. You don't see fresh rust here except
right after a rain and you never see it spread.
