Barry, anything around 110-120 is standard on a mid life wasser... I have never, never seen compression over 150psi on any wasser, just a fact. I have seen 3 AVP lately, including Larry, all engine where not very old, all were in the 130 max... So as long as the oil consumption is not to bad, engine run smooth, no leak...keep it like that... i would worry more about some cooling tube/line than the engine. You are better off with a good old engine than a cheap rebuilt one... I have seen horror stories lately, localy rebuilt wasser by average car mechanic... Good maintenance is the way to go... Check those oil cooler 90 deg hoses and those stupid oil senders... small stuff but they can ruine an engine pretty fast Have fun, take pictures...smile!!! Ben ps.: i dis remove the 2 heads i had under my back seat, he he he. |
