Sadly the grommets in the top of my fuel expansion tanks have totally deteriorated, one of them appears to have split in two several years ago, and the other one had turned into a pile of goo. So, I need new ones. However, I have not been able to find these grommets at any of the normal online vanagon suppliers... Anyone know where I can get these? I also managed to break the driver's side tank's vent valve while trying to remove the pile of goo/grommet from it. It appears that busdepot sells this part...
Did you try the VW dealer near you ? I have them listed on my _Vanagon Items Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) webpage. Guess you did not look there. They come from my friendly ? neighborhood VW dealer !
