I haven't been over the scales with ours empty, but our '88 Westy loaded for camping, and with 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 spares, all fluids full, plus extra 20lb propane bottle, 5 gallons water ranges from 5500 - 5800 lbs. The highest reading was with an extra adult and his gear. I will try to weigh our '82 Diesel Westy this week front & rear, but last weekend, it came in at 4100 lbs (1860 kg) with myself and two kids (260lbs people weight total), and a 1/4 tank fuel, no fresh water, all cupboards empty. This was at the recycling depot scale, so I couldn't do it by axle.
