Seems you took my statement wrong. I simply meant that Black Satin is a Thermal Barrier and should not be used on engine cases, it is an exhaust coating. The *TLTD* THERMAL DISPERSANT is what you'd use on engine cases, valve covers, pushrod tubes. It's also a black coating but more of a semi gloss when cured.
