Subject: Relay placement on 1980 Vanagon
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Some time ago I took the relays out of their panel on my 1980 Vanagon to borrow for my 1982. To my dismay, they fit in multiple locations, I have relays from 2 cars here, and my memory isn't that good. So, what is the placement supposed to be? What I've been able to devine with my stick is: 1-headlite relay, 2-blank, 3-current doubler relay, 4- door buzzer, 5- windshield wiper intermittent relay. So where is the blinker relay? That's my immediate problem- the turn signals don't work. Probably because I've been fooling with them! The fuses seem to be okay and the light on the dash comes on. Thanks, Al Brase
