Subject: CV grease

CV joints come in a kit with a tube of grease for each one, which is all I have ever used.

At the FLAPS today, I was searching for a needle attachment for my grease gun, (found it) and also saw a lot of choices for CV joint grease. Some in the small cans, some in the cartridges for the gun. Valvoline, generic brand (yikes!) and something called "semi synthetic"

I am soliciting brand or ingredient recommendations from those who know much more about this than I do. I was once told that CV grease was found 'behind the counter' in small packets for each joint, so you can see I am in need of more information :-)

Thanks again, as always.

John
