Ben and Frank, it sounds like you guys are taking some care in your work. In my experience, once you establish this reputation, you are more than justified in charging what you're worth. I recall a fellow in Hood River Oregon (anyone know this shop?) that had two spotless bays, a restored bus parked in the back, and just a great feel. I was on a windsurfing trip, 3000km from home, with a bleeding water pump and looking for someone to change it. This guy was booked solid for three weeks. I had such bad vibe from the other shops in the area that I did it myself in the campground.
