Subject: Had surging, fixed it, but did I just bandaid it?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

As my saga goes on. I checked my O2 sensor voltage, now that the idle had settled down. On hot engine (off) I disconnected it then turned on the engine to check sensor voltage. With the sensor disconnected it started to hunt idle again, not surging as bad but still definately wrong. O2 sensor would fluctuate between .5 on one side of the idle oscillation to almost 1.0 on the other end. Put another half turn on the screw (clockwise) to see what would happen. It stopped fluctuating, but the idle was not strong and the sensor stayed at around .9v. GRRR! Any further help guys? I'm really getting frustrated after so much work to fix the heads to be held up by this kind of stuff.
