Subject: Loose black wire near fuse box?

Hi all,

While doing some work today on my 88 Westy, I noticed a black wire near the fuse box that was hanging loose, with a bare end that looked jagged (like it had been torn off something). After an hour of searching and peering at the Bentley manual, I can't figure out where it's from. It's a solid black wire, about 10 or 8 gauge (one of the thickest wires in the area).

Anybody have an idea where it goes? I've taped it off for the time being, but it seems like it must be a ground wire for something important if its 10 gauge.

Thanks! Brian Wasson Abington, Pa.
