for those of you that drive and work on diesels i have a question about compression testers. from what i have seen it appears that there are two kinds of adapters with which to hook a gauge up to the engine. an adapter that screws in place of the injector and one that screws in place of the glow plug. is this correct? additionally what are the merits of the two different styles? i'm not on any vw diesel lists right now so if you would like, please feel free to send this to any diesel list that your on.
