I am really happy to be reading this discussion.
I have looked at every tire on every vanagon I come across, And while 
all have been LT or reinforced tires i have not seen one tire with more 

than 2 sidewall plies - they all seem to be 2+2 tread and 2 poly side 
wall.
· How are REINFORCED side wall tires different and how are they labeled.
· Are there more than 2 brands.
I want new wheels so that I can get a decent tire for less money than 
my High performance subaru tires ($600/4) - GoWesty has some good 
statements about tires, I just don't know where to put my life (and $$)
