I was trying to figure that out but, like most all else, it's smarter than me. I think that's the first "mid-engine" V8 vanagon I've ever seen. Made me wonder what they did with all the cable and line routing to access the tranny, clutch, brakes, etc.? I suppose cooling could be even a little better with the slightly shorter distance? Sure does use up a lot of space, but leaves the rear almost like a trunk. Looks like the sliding door will barely close, too. Air cleaner interference? Also looks like there are marks on the floor for more cut-outs (white). I suppose the "trunk" is where the new fuel tank will go. What a project! ;) bob
