I briefly tried Freeze-12. Didn't seem any different than R134a to me. I tend to use Duracool. The only downside I have is that Duracool seems to find it easier to escape from the system. When it is properly charged, it cools GREAT (as good as the original R-12.)

Note: Duracool isn't legal in all US states. Where it is legal you must first have converted the system to R-134a fittings and oil (per US Federal laws).
