I removed the passenger cup holder and mounted my serius right there. It sits at a good angle I can see it from my drivers position and from the camper bed. The antenna is mounted up on the top of the luggage rack in the front and held on with some super heavy duty doublesided tape(no metal up on a west roof to magnetically stick it). The wire goes throught the drain hole in the luggage rack deal and through the ceiling of the van in the upper passenger corner. Then The wire gets tucked under the inside seal of the windshield travels down the side of the windshield and behind the dash behind the glove box. Then it is connected to the receiver. Of corse I sealed the hole I drilled with silicone. Cant really tell it is their looks clean and is very functional. Adrian

"I am wondering how & where folks are penetrating the van body to bring the satellite antenna cable in."

Probably not what your question is about, but on my Westy it comes in under the canvas bead above the driver's head, along the molding down to the floor left of the driver and along/under the carpet and up under the dash. My unit is mounted on the dash next to the ash tray area. Easier to get to for tuning for me as I usually travel alone. Also easier to use the remote from bed as I can clearly see it. bob
