Tom, I did not penetrate anywhere. I ran the wire from the antenna which I attached to the RH front corner of the luggage rack, steel plate behind and double sided tape, down to the upper front corner of the passenger door and then into the van at that point then down the windshield post tucking the wire behind the windshield rubber then between the dash and windshield post to get the wire under the dash and over to the Sirius head which I have mounted on the front heater plastic pull off cover.
