Subject:   Re: Westy's in Quebec? - Nevermind-slightly OT, semi rant!

Jeff,

Sherbrooke is my hometown, though I now live in Alberta. In 1997 after traveling for 11 months with my wife and our 6 year old daughter we were visiting my mom in Sherbrooke. I get Mobil 1 and drive to the dealer for an oil change. While I'm waiting for an appointment I notice 2 mechanics smoking inside the shop while working on vehicles!!!!!!!!! Got out of there quick. Went to Garage Euro-Technique, I tell the guy what just happened at the dealer, he rants about them a bit and tells me he'll take good care of me. I look at him straight in the eyes and say "just do the oil change, don't touch ANYTHING else". Five minutes later he's pumping "no-name non-synthetic crap" in my tranny, which isn't low by the way, the stuff is pumping in is overflowing on the ground!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think he got paid????

rant mode off
