Make sure hydr. lines don't block area where fuel fill tube goes in, replace crossover tube, all fuel tank grommets and large one for fill tube.May need to replace hoses to vent tanks. Need original PS rod.May need to replace U-joints(3) as they are probably cracking by now.And last but not least flush system before connecting all If in doubt replace hoses etc Leon On Tue, 22 Mar 2005 10:29:48 -0500, Paul Guzyk <paullist@GUZYK.COM> wrote: > I want to convert a 83.5 Westy from Manual to Power Steering. > > I have an 86 power steering rack and pump, and can get the 86 steering > wheel and the metal lines that go under the car. > > What else needs to be changed?
