Joel, Thanks for your input, I'm pretty sure it's not the fuel pressure regulator as I have replaced it recently. There is no blue/gray smoke and the exhaust doesn't smell like it's running rich either. I think I will put in a new O2 sensor, or at least a different one that I have. As for the injectors I couldn't say that they are good nor bad. And I have a new Cat on the way as well as a new fuel filler cap too. And the timing is at 7+ - ABTC. What's all the chatter about running at 5?

dunno fer sure, but it looks to me like you're running too rich. which could be the oxygen sensor, the aux air regulator, and/or the fuel pressure regulator, or just old leaking injectors.

but a new cat wouldn't hurt ... i just don't think it's gonna solve this problem.

good luck! joel
