The short answer is -- no.  My advise, from my experience, is to fly out
there and drive it back as quickly and with as little baggage (including the wife
and munchkins) as possible.  Then, whenever you get back, take the family to
the beach.  I have tried to do things like this, dovetailing business with
family life, and in every case either the business end of it does not get enough
attention or else the family is miserable.  It might be a nice concept, but it
just doesn't work.
