Waving? How are we to wave in this modern age when we have a cell phone in one hand and a cigarette in the other and a cup of coffee in the other. :-)

---------

The reason why EV owners don't wave, is that they are analyzing every shift, hill slip and reverse gear delay on their auto transmission EV. I figure that next week, most comunities will not allow EV's (they will give you a police ecsort out of town) because this is turning out to be worse than someone talking on their cell fone while driving. It's hard to concentrate on the road when you are driving a ticking transmission bomb. :)

---------- My Little League, Cub/Boy Scout, Swim Team, Mom/Wife won't wave as she is too busy yelling at the kids and figuring out where she is suppose to bring them next.

My 3 kids are always waving, though it's hard to see them behind the limo tint. They could also just be fighting with each other.

I always wave, although it could be me swatting the kids in the middle seats...

-----------

I love this thread.

Why can't we be friends... Why can't we be friends... Why can't we be friends... Why can't we be friends...

Here in friendly NJ, EV owners always wave to one another. It's the most courteous road encounter you'll get up here. After waving, however, they still might cut you off to make a left hand turn when the light turns green, unless I'm quicker off the mark and prevent them from doing so. Then, it's the single finger wave, so long, buddy.

------------

I wave to everybody. I seem to get the most response from the other EVC'ers. I think the Vanagoners, etc. ignore the EV'ers. <hehe>

See ya'all on the road up/down the west coast this Spring/Summer. -----------

Is there any connection that many of us that do wave are also Mac Users!

-----------

No. Living and working minutes from Bill Gatesville here in Western WA, I was born and raised to be PC-based. haha.

Along with my other MS & XBox employee friends and relatives that also drive VW vans (ranging from '63 to '02), we're all wavers! (Sorry to travel so far off-topic!)

-----------

I always wave, but I notice that only the cute women wave back.
